Most chemical contamination can be removed from laboratory equipment by scrubbing with soap and water.

The same is true for radioactive contamination, because the cleaning process is governed by chemical properties, not radioactive status. Please survey the equipment for residual radioactive contamination to ensure the cleaning effort was effective.
